Distance - Find My Distance App Reviews

This app is very useful for quickly and easily measuring distance. I use this app fairly often to measure how far I have walked. It would be really great to have the option of having the measured distance line snap to the street to give an even more accurate distance measurement.

Gr8 for tracking the distance associated with work outs. Not a pedometer it doesnt keep track of distance while ur jogging, but its gr8 for planning routes or 2 c how many miles ur jog was. I actually use mine to plot out my dog walking routes. Minor flaw is that its not exact, but rather based upon the line drawn by ur finger. Still, very handy tool to have.

Easy to use and as much detail as I need..

I tested it out by tracing a track and a baseball diamond (both known distances). Both were 10-20% on the low side. This app is cool is concept, misleading and pathetic in execution.

I farm and I use this app to do a quick measurement of distances for pipelines, ditches, find shortest routes, etc.. I would miss it now if I didnt have it.

Excellent app. I cycle and walk so the app has been great in determining which route I should use, where to take breaks, etc. Also good for mapping out travel routes when in the car and on unknown roads. Download it, you will be very happy you did! Bear

Fabulous app. When you want to give perfect, turn-by-turn directions to somebody, first measure all the distances and include them in the directions. If you want to chart a distance to run or walk, it is perfect for that too. This app is fantastic. The only problem is trying to write this review. It keeps telling the nickname is taken, please enter another.

Very useful to measure walking distances, as well as straight line distances.

I would give this app 5 stars and even pay for it, if I could continue your drawing out side of the map, without loosing what Ive already drawn. For Example: if I start to draw a route, but the complete route that I want to draw, actually extends beyond the parameters of my iPad screen, I cant lift my finger, move the map and continue drawing. When I do so, I loose all of what I already drawn, and the route starts fresh. I wish I could pause, move the map and continue drawing where I stopped. Hope this will be fixed. It will make this app THE BEST in route drawing.

I do a lot of walking in the city, but I frequently forget to use my Map My Walk app. Pro: This app allows me to quickly satisfy my curiosity with how far I have gone. Con: I tend to walk farther than I can track on the map in one continuous swipe of the finger. Users should be able to save a route that has been drawn, then maneuver the map to draw the remaining route since the viewable map area tends to be small.

Allows you to measure distance using consecutive segments, which is all I need.

Easy--just drag your finger from point A to point B and voila. Very handy tool.
